What do I do if I get copyright claim on YouTube
Unfortunately, Youtube's content ID system can generate false positive claims. This is not even specific to AI generated music, and also happens for human composed music. I'd recommend appealing the claim directly with youtube. You can see how to do that on Youtube's support website: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2797370?hl=en
I'd suggest including the following:
- How the composition was created (with AIVA)
- A link to our EULA (https://www.aiva.ai/legal/1)
- A proof of AIVA payment to show that you have acquired the right subscription plan in order to become the owner of the composition
Other tips:
For example, if you are on our Pro plan, you should select that you are the copyright owner. And if you are on our Standard plan, you should select that you are a license holder.
